An exquisite Kalamkari tote with Buddha and goddess prints with a matching zippered purse/pouch. Kalamkari is an ancient art form from India that involves meticulously hand-drawing (or block-printing) animals and flowers on a cotton fabric.
This tote is extremely versatile and ideal as a book bag, for running errands or as a fancy tote for carrying to parties, concerts or any event. Bag is made of a high quality black duck/canvas fabric and kalamkari cotton fabric, matched with a beautiful golden zari or trim. The kalamkari design with zari is stitched on both sides of the bag.
Zippered pouch is ideal as a pencil case or for carrying make up accessories. Pouch is made of high quality cotton kalamkari fabric and lined with durable cotton lining. Kalamkari design can be found on both sides of the pouch.
Both the bag and the pouch are double-stitched on the inside for added durability.
